The Louisiana Lottery’s social media channels are managed by Sr. Communications Specialist Kelly Spell, under the direction of Communications Manager Kimberly Chopin and with the help of communications Assistants Natalie Ducote and Les Patin. This vibrant fun-loving team is constantly seeeking new ways to engage with Lottery players to add value to their experience and maximize revenue for the state of Louisiana.
HOPE Ministries’ mission is to prevent homelessness and promote self-sufficiency and dignity. This is accomplished through several different programs serving the Greater Baton Rouge community. One of HOPE’s fundraising efforts is Louisiana Gives©, which is a web-based fundraising platform that raises monies for Louisiana nonprofit organizations, schools and churches. Every purchase made through Louisiana Gives© directly benefits our participating non-profit organizations through the payment of commissions by participating online stores.
Visit Baton Rouge
The mission of Visit Baton Rouge is to increase visitation to and awareness of the Baton Rouge Area, therefore enhancing economic impact. Social media plays a large role in getting the message out about Baton Rouge’s attractions and positive news.
Doucet, a Lafayette, La. native, is a local sports anchor and reporter for WAFB (CBS Affiliate) in Baton Rouge. He started in 2001 and has won six (6) Louisiana AP Awards for sports broadcasting while covering Superbowls, National Championship games and Final Fours. He is the co-host of the local high school sports show “Sportsline Friday Nite”. He also is the founder of the “Red, Rock & Blue Weekend” that combines a celebrity/sort-celebrity softball game, tournament and a rock concert which all donate money to various non-profit military family charities

Each week 225 Best Eats partners with great restaurants in Baton Rouge to introduce new customers to their cuisine as well as thanking their current patrons who continue to suppport them. It’s all about the food, the atmosphere, and most of all the experience.
The Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP) is charged with leading and supporting Louisiana and its citizens in the preparation for, response to, and recovery from all emergencies and disasters. GOHSEP utilizes Facebook and Twitter to quickly put out messages for the benefit of Louisianians during these times.
